Being able to play according to the odds as opposed to just the hand I have been dealt has made the game more of a mental challenge than just a game of luck. And if you have a Mike Sexton fan or just a good old poker fan in your life this book will make a great gift for them.
One thing I liked about the book the most was the illustrated examples. His views are based on the time when you actually needed to sit at a table to play a game. He has openly shared his knowledge with the world and has written various books on the topic of poker and how to be successful at it. However, I found the more I stayed with it the easier it became and I can honestly say that I have definitely gotten rid of one of my habits.
Although it is not the most well-written book I have ever read it still helped me improve my game and my time was very well spent.. This piece will teach you fundamental poker math and how to use it to increase your winnings.
